My love for the creative arts stemmed from a very young age - I was always working with my hands as a youth, whether it be coloring, painting, drawing or building. My father threw me into every drawing/art/design program imaginable, with a firm belief that one day, this form of classical training would contribute to my future.

My fascination with makeup emerged early on as well - I would watch my mother get ready in the morning, rimming her eyes with her Lancome eye kohl, blending it meticulously with her fingertips, and fascinated by this ritual practice, I begged her to teach me.

She explained to me that makeup had an immense power on the human psyche - that just a few swipes of mascara and a dab of lipstick could turn someone's entire day around, and help them face whatever they needed to face that particular day. That's why I love doing what I do - my work helps people feel empowered. Every day, I get to help people of all ages and walks of life, feel beautiful in their own skin.

As an artist, my mission is simple - to empower those who I come into contact with, to tell a story with each of my makeup applications, to convey emotion through each look I design, and to grow as both an artist and young professional working in the heart of New York City. When it comes to makeup, there is no right or wrong - it's whatever you want to be that day, and the next day, it could change, as do you. That's where my passion for the art derives from - it's about feeling confident in your own skin, taking ownership of who you are, and telling your own personal story to the world.
